Historic Ornamental Plaster Ceiling Medallion Restoration

After a tragic fire damaged part of this historic residence in Clarksville, Tennessee (50 miles north of Nashville, TN), the owner contacted Cast Designs hoping we might be able to restore beauty of the original hsitoric ceiling medallion from her master bedroom.  Below is a photo journal of just some of the steps we took in restoring this architectural art to a level of detail that according to the homeowner was "better than the one we lost,"

Detailed descriptions will be added at a later time, but for a short description of the photo, just scroll over the photo with your mouse.
